Todi, the "ideal city"
The name Todi comes from the Etruscan "tular", that means border. In the past, the border between the Umbrians and the Etruscans was marked by the Tiber. Perched on top of two hills as if it still has to defend itself with its three circles of walls, we will go from marvel to marvel, proceeding towards its historic center. The most illustrious son of the medieval Todi is the poet and Franciscan friar Ser Jacopone, who composed countless poems, which became the Italian literature.

BEVERLY PEPPER PARK
It is the first single-site park of contemporary sculpture in Umbria and the artist's first in the world. The sixteen works donated by the artist are exhibited in the park opened in 2019. Retracing her artistic career from the distant 1963 until today, we will admire the main monuments of Todi. The park is reminiscent of English outdoor meeting places like those dedicated to Henry Moore or like the one dedicated to Isamu Noguchi in the United States.
